paw print What a Dog Rescue Center in FL Should be About

There are many dog rescue centers in FL doing outstanding work to protect dogs, but the Suncoast Animal League (SAL) seems to stand above the rest. This no-kill, nonprofit rescue organization went above and beyond their normal undertakings of caring for homeless and unwanted dogs. Their fight led them to join forces with Florida’s Department of Agriculture employees and Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies to save many dogs from a puppymill in Tarpon Springs, FL. The SAL rescued Yorkies, Pomeranians, and Malteses and are currently caring for these dogs, ages range from a few days old to 8 years old. In addition, they recently took 57 animals from Brevard County’s South Animal Care Center (SACC) to help reduce the over-crowded conditions caused by the tropical storm Fay.
